Our customer Kristina Gammill wore our Mint Floral Posy Silk Maternity gown for her hospital pictures and shared them with us and also shared her pregnancy journey. Here is a small interview with her.

Is this your first time having a baby?

I am currently pregnant with my third son. We will call him Conrad. I have two older boys, Kipp, who is 4 and Kane, who is 2.

Can you share your most memorable and the most scariest moments during pregnancy?

My most memorable moment, without a doubt, is when I saw each of boys' heartbeats for the first time. Every time I am just as amazed and in awe.

The scariest moment for me was with my first. I discovered I was pregnant very early and the ultrasound didn't show anything. I had to wait several weeks to see if my pregnancy was going to progress.

What tips will you give to other moms and would-be moms?(Dietary tips, Exercise tips etc)

I could go on for days on little tips for during pregnancy, but I believe the best is to stay active. It helps build endurance for delivery. Being active doesn't necessarily mean going to the gym. You can do simple things like walking outside, swimming, or just make a list of things you need to do around the house that day. The worst thing you can do is sit on the couch and not move enough. That being said, when your body feels worn down, stop and put your feet up. Your body will show you your limits so listen to it. As far as dietary tips, hands down, drink water. If water doesn't appeal to you, put some lemon in it to help. Trust me when I say this, you will regret not taking in enough water. It plays a huge role in how you feel overall during pregnancy.

Obviously, my advice is coming from a stay at home mom's perspective, so here are some side notes for those who work while pregnant.

I worked during my first pregnancy and had terrible morning sickness. My go to lifesaver was pregnancy drops. They are lozenges for you to suck on that have ginger in them to help with nausea. I also would take a little foot stool with me to work for when I needed to put my feet up.

Experiencing three pregnancies has been very interesting. Each one was completely different. I experienced post partum depression after my first son which resolved after about a year. I had no issues with my second and I feel fantastic currently with my third pregnancy. The most important advice I can give is to soak up every moment. It passes by faster than you realize. Also know that you shouldn't be scared or nervous. The odds are in your favor that your pregnancy and delivery will go beautifully. Enjoy this season in life, it is far too short.
