An interesting tête-à-tête with our customer Stephanie Walkeden:
* Is this your first time having a baby?
This is my first baby.
* Can you share your most memorable and the most scariest moments during pregnancy?
my most memorable moment during this pregnancy has been these recent months where he is really responsive to my touch. Sometimes he is so quiet in there and I tend to worry, but I place my hands on my belly and he starts moving around, reassuring me he's okay. It's almost feels like a conversation between us, it's a unique bond.
My scariest/hardest moment in pregnancy was learning to trust my body and the universe and letting go of what I can't control. I miscarried a couple months before we got pregnant with this little guy and all those fears felt too fresh. Learning that there is little I can do to ensure this babe "sticks" and trusting the universe with those fears was a very hard journey. It has been a humbling experience.
* What tips will you give to other moms and would-be moms?(Dietary tips, Exercise tips etc)
I have been getting routine acupuncture and it's been so helpful! It helped us conceive, it's helped with my morning sickness, it's helped with my migraines and now it's hopefully helping ripen my cervix for delivery. I would also say to try and relax and trust the process. Our bodies are such magnificent works of art and they know more than we do (definitely more than Google does) on what you need. If your body is telling you to slow down, listen. Take time for yourself and enjoy this wild ride.
* What have you decided to name your baby?
We actually have not decided on a name, we have quite a few in mind and we're trusting that when he arrives we'll just know.
