“I was diagnosed with hyperemesis at 10 weeks. It was scary” | Pregnancy Interviews

Our customer Morgan Campey wore our Navy Blue Rosy Red Posy Maternity robe for her “Fresh 48” photo session and shared some of her pictures with us and also shared her pregnancy journey. Here is a small interview with her.

* Is this your first time having a baby?

Yes!

* Can you share your most memorable and the most scariest moments during pregnancy?

I was diagnosed with hyperemesis at 10 weeks. It was scary because I had gone 4 days without eating and barely keeping down water. I lost 5 pounds and was vomiting night and day... I was prescribed zofran and had to take it daily for the rest of my pregnancy, Baby girl kept me on my toes and kept her face hidden during every ultrasound. It was not a pleasant pregnancy but labor was a breeze. :)

* What tips will you give to other moms and would-be moms?(Dietary tips, Exercise tips etc)

Drink lots of water. I couldn't stomach it so LaCroix saved me! Also, don't believe the "eat whatever you want, eat for 2" nonsense. You still have to function, and be yourself after you give birth. Be kind to your body! It's growing a human after all!
