“Pregnancy is very hard, but very worth it!” | Pregnancy Interviews

Our customer Alisha Thielepape wore our Navy Blue Rosy Red Posy Maternity robe for her “Fresh 48” photo session and shared some of her pictures with us and also shared her pregnancy journey. Here is a small interview with her.

* Is this your first time having a baby?

This was my second baby - my first, born 12/4/14, is Hattie Anne. My second, born 2/27/17, is Ella Price.

We had a lot of trouble getting pregnant, so most of the pregnancies I was nervous. And I was sick every day of both pregnancies!

* Can you share your most memorable and the most scariest moments during pregnancy?

With Ella, my two-month-old, the scariest moment was when she stopped moving and we had to do an emergency c-section at 38 weeks. Thankfully she was fine! And the most memorable moments all revolved around sonograms - hearing the heartbeat for the first time, finding out genders, and getting a 3D/4D ultrasound at 30 weeks with Ella. It's been fun to see how much she looks like those pictures!

* What tips will you give to other moms and would-be moms?(Dietary tips, Exercise tips etc)

I have so many tips for other moms-to-be, but here are just a few:

- Sign up for Alphamom updates!

- Purchase a hand-held doppler to hear the baby's heartbeat.

- Hydrate as often as possible.

- Get as much rest as possible.

- Listen to your heart and intuition and don't stress over "getting ready" for baby - with diapers and milk and a few clothes, you're set!
